Sakura ("Sakura," "we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile and web experience for reading manga, anime, and novels, discovering creators, using Solana wallet features, purchasing premium access, and accessing optional crypto features such as token swaps, on-ramp services, and perpetuals trading.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and your choices.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Sakura application, the Sakura website, and related services we operate or provide.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information you provide directly

We may collect information you choose to provide to us, including:

• your Solana wallet address
• profile information such as display name and bio
• optional email address entered in settings
• comments, reactions, novel comments, creator application information, and other content you submit
• creator-related information such as creator display name, biography, and linked creator identifiers
• support messages or other communications you send us

B. Information created through your use of Sakura

When you use Sakura, we may store or process:

• favorites, library entries, reading history, chapter progress, read chapters, search history, anime watch history, novel bookmarks, highlights, notes, and download indexes
• settings and preferences, including reading mode, TTS settings, custom reader settings, and notification preferences
• creator and community activity such as tips, profile updates, and comments
• trade-related records if you use Sakura perpetuals features, including positions, balance records, trade history, deposit and withdrawal records, and related wallet-authenticated requests

C. Blockchain and transaction information

Because Sakura uses Solana-based features, we may process public blockchain data related to your use of the app, including:

• wallet addresses
• public transaction signatures
• token transfer records
• on-chain payment verification for premium access, creator tipping, highlighted comments, trading fees, deposits, withdrawals, and similar features

Blockchain data is generally public, transparent, and may be permanently available on-chain.

D. Local device data

Sakura stores certain information locally on your device to provide app functionality. This may include:

• cached content and downloaded chapter/image data
• local app settings and reading preferences
• local receipts or entitlement records used for app features
• locally stored wallet information

If you use Sakura's embedded wallet, the wallet secret is intended to be stored locally on your device. On supported devices, Sakura may use biometric-secured device storage. On devices without biometric-secured storage, Sakura may fall back to device-local storage mechanisms.

We do not intend to collect your private key on our servers through normal app use.

E. Automatically collected technical information

We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate the service, such as:

• app/device type
• operating system
• general diagnostic logs
• request metadata
• crash or error information
• approximate network/session information needed to load content and protect the service

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and maintain Sakura features
• authenticate wallet-based actions
• sync your library, settings, history, and progress across devices
• operate creator features, comments, profiles, and community features
• verify on-chain payments and token-based entitlements
• support token swaps, on-ramp flows, and optional perpetuals trading features
• secure the app, prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse
• troubleshoot bugs, improve performance, and develop new features
• comply with law, respond to legal process, and enforce our terms

4. Third-Party Services and Infrastructure

Sakura relies on third-party services and networks. Depending on which features you use, Sakura may interact with:

• Solana network infrastructure and RPC providers
• Supabase for cloud storage and app data
• Transak for fiat on-ramp services
• Jupiter for token swap routing
• Drift Protocol and related backend infrastructure for perpetuals trading features

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by those parties' own privacy policies and terms.

5. Comments, Profiles, and User Content

If you post comments, reactions, profile information, creator submissions, or novel content:

• that information may be visible to other users
• your wallet address may be associated with that activity
• we may store, display, moderate, review, or remove that content to operate the service and enforce our policies

Please do not post sensitive personal information in public profile or comment areas.

6. Cloud Sync

If you connect a wallet and use cloud sync, Sakura may back up and restore information such as:

• library data
• settings
• reading progress
• anime watch history
• recent searches
• novel bookmarks
• download index information

Cloud sync is designed to help you keep your Sakura experience across devices, but no online storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. Wallets and Security

Sakura is a wallet-connected application. You are responsible for:

• maintaining the security of your device
• protecting your private key, seed phrase, backups, and biometric access
• reviewing and understanding transactions before signing them

If you lose access to your device or wallet credentials, you may permanently lose access to assets or app-related entitlements tied to your wallet.

8. Trading, Swaps, and Payments

Sakura may provide optional blockchain and financial features, including:

• token purchases
• token swaps
• premium or pass purchases
• creator tipping
• highlighted comments paid with tokens
• perpetuals trading and collateral flows

These features involve blockchain, third-party infrastructure, and market risk. We may store and process related transaction and account records necessary to operate these features.

We do not guarantee execution, settlement, profitability, or uninterrupted availability of any blockchain or trading feature.

9. How We Share Information

We may share information:

• with service providers and infrastructure vendors that help us operate Sakura
• with blockchain networks and protocols when you use on-chain features
• with integrated third-party providers you choose to use
• when required by law, legal process, or regulatory request
• to protect rights, safety, security, or property of Sakura, users, or others
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction

We do not sell your private key. We do not intentionally collect your private key on our servers in the ordinary course of app use.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the service
• maintain sync and account-linked functionality
• comply with legal obligations
• resolve disputes
• enforce agreements
• maintain security and fraud prevention records

Public blockchain data may remain visible indefinitely regardless of our own retention practices.

11. Your Choices

You may:

• disconnect your wallet from Sakura
• delete local app data from your device
• remove locally stored wallet data from your device
• avoid using optional cloud sync features
• avoid providing optional information such as display name, bio, or email

Please note that deleting local data or disconnecting a wallet may affect app functionality, synced progress, and access to wallet-linked features.

12. Children's Privacy

Sakura is not intended for children under 13. Certain blockchain, payment, and trading features are intended only for users who are legally permitted to use them in their jurisdiction. 13. International Use

Sakura may be accessed from multiple countries. By using Sakura, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Sakura after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
